So my new husband and I have been married for a month and eventually the time will come to have a family so what are some some advice on what I can eat and drink when the time comes?

Talk with your midwife, or doctor if you're high risk.
Generally, eat what you usually do, with emphasis on healthy foods, and in the last 3 months (when the fetus is
growing the most) eat several hundred calories over maintenance.
Some people say alcohol is OK at 1 drink a week, but generally it's best to avoid it.
One thing you need to do waaaay before you even think about getting pregnant* is get enough folic acid. Eat enriched
foods, and take a vitamin to be sure. Because the neural tube forms before you know you're pregnant, and folic acid
helps prevent neural tube defects.

Well I've been taking my prenatal vitamins for a while now and since my wedding and honeymoon in July I've lost 20lbs and back in the 120s!!!!0
