I became a member just a few days ago and am very excited about the power of this site. I have tried to maintain a hand written fitness journal for over a year now. It has not worked for me. This site is awesome and empowers me to track all the things I was trying to track in my fitness journal. The greatest thing is that it automatically 'does the math'. I got real good at writing down all the food I ate - I just couldn't find the time to track the nutrition data! Problem solved.
I am determined to eat healthy and lose approximately 40 pounds. My favorite form of exercise is kettlebells. Second would be walking. I live in Tennessee and have completed the Country Music Half Marathon for the past 3 years. Next year I want to be in the best shape ever and significantly increase my time. I walk the marathon as I am not a runner.
Looking forward to sharing ideas and victories and helping each other in the struggles we may have along the way.

Hello all, I just joined today after a few weeks of creating an exercise habit and reducing my food intake. I have about fifty pounds I want to lose by the end of the year and I am very motivated. Im not tremendously overweight but I havent been happy with my appearance for many years. I am changing that now! My daughter who is a resistered nurse told me about (my fitness) today and I signed right up. It is incredible, also synced my android phone so that I can plug the numbers in right after I eat. I am looking forward to this experience. Jeff0
