Yeah, those were the poser Paleos man!
I'm doing the real Paleo.0 -
Perhaps they were feeding it to their food. Grits ? you must be joking.0

I'm still avoiding bread since it's like crack to me.
Actually, I never really claimed to eat Paleo, but trying to conform to some of the rules did help me get my diet on track. It really helped me learn to eat differently and subsequently lose the last stubborn 8 lbs I'd been hanging onto for a while. I am now leaner and more fit than I have been in my life.
I do try to stick to food that's still mostly in original form. Or did. Lately, Questbars have become a daily part of my diet.
Stupid, yummy Questbars...0 -
Well there you go...0

How is that even possible? Maybe you didn't add enough butter. And cheese.0 -

It makes biscuits soggy and ruins buttered mash potatoes and chicken fried steaks.

Hey, this means beer is paleo approved.

Doing a happy dance right now. I went to Michigan once for a event and people looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they had grits. (Then they would say we have oatmeal). I am seeing grass fed butter, salt, pepper and bacon for breakfast for me tomorrow. I agree about the gravy though.0

What about Semolina Porridge?0

That's just anti-American! Turn in your semi-automatic weapon, bottle rockets, and McDonald's club card

Polenta is corn, semolina is wheat. Polenta and grits are pretty much the same thing.0
