Slow progress is still progress..

hello everyone! Over the years, I've been prone to yo-yo dieting because I was never comfortable with the way my body looked. And because of that, I was always putting my body through hell by starving it, then binging, then starving because I binged and it just became an unhealthy cycle. But two weeks ago, I decided to give MFP a try again because I knew if I used it to track my calories, I wasn't restricted to eat only certain foods (diets are all about mental strength, which I don't have lol) but would just eat in moderation. And so far, it's been working well for me! I've already lost 4 pounds and my body is slowly starting to make changes as well. I just wanted to make this post for all those people that have been unhappy with their bodies and feel like there is no hope. But by using MFP to log your exercise, water intake, and calories it makes you feel like your weight loss goal IS possible. I don't feel like I'm missing out on foods and I barely get cravings anymore for things. Last night I had to tell myself to eat some dessert so that I could hit my calorie goal for the day, lol! So stay strong, keep using MFP, and you will start to notice changes soon. :)

These pictures are two weeks apart, 4lb difference. Slow and steady wins the race..
