Midwesterners......thoughts on Fresh Thyme markets?

These are popping up all over the area I live in near Indianapolis. I have read that one of the major investors is Meijer (my current grocery store of choice) and that they are basically a hybrid between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but rival Trader Joe's/Aldi in price. I just saw their weekly ad and I am thinking about doing my shopping there this week. My list is mainly produce, meat and dairy, so I should be able to get everything at one place.

I was just wondering if anyone shops there and what your experience is on price/selection and if you are able to do your regular shopping there without having to go elsewhere?

I shopped at Aldi for a while but found I still needed to stop at Meijer for things Aldi did not have ona weekly basis. I would like to be able to find a one stop shop for weekly things and only need to venture to Meijer occasionally.

Thanks!

I love Fresh Thyme. The problem is that I live on the west side of Indy, and the closest Fresh Thyme is on 86th street. If it was closer to me I would shop there all the time. I'm a vegetarian, so I love the options they have for me...and they are reasonably priced. My dad loves the meat they have...and my dog loves it when he feeds her their bacon. Fresh Thyme is good for those that like organic foods. Plus, they are always having some kind of sale on produce. The only downfall is buying bulk items which they do not have much of. That would be a good reason to visit Meijer.

Awesome! I am going to check it out this week. I have a smaller grocery list, so I can one stop shop and browse the store. I swear, those stores are popping up all over the north side. So, I would imagine Avon would be getting one eventually.
