why so much protein? (for wight gain?)

I'm at 2,370 calories (my BMI is 1,300)... so I want to gain weight. 20% of that is protein. (119 gr)
Why so high? i usually meet/ overshoot that requirement with whey protein concentrate... and i usually 2,600+ calories. But I was raised vegetarian... there's no way I got 119 GRAMS most of my life.

0.6-0.8g of protein per lb of body mass.
Gaining 5lb's in 3 weeks is mainly going to be fat... knock your caloric intake down by 150 calories until you're gaining 0.5lb-1lb per week.

How small are you to think you have a BMR of 1300?0

keep doing what your doing my guess is if your truly 7.5% you have a very fast metabolism or extremely active? Keep eating 2600 calories till you get to your goal weight then back off 300 and see what happens if you level off gaining your at maintenance if you lose raise it 150 calories and adjust accordingly. I would kill to be at 10% body fat.. I would check your BMR.0

119 gram isn't that much at all honestly- I aim for like 150. (I suck at hitting it because I'm lazy and cheap- but it's more than doable)
Honestly you really can average around 100 and be fine.
Secondly - you need a calorie surplus before you need perfect macros. If you're macros are perfect- but you aren't in a surplus- it means literally nothing.
Secondly I would aim for 100 (or more) in protein and round out your diet with carbs. Carbs = insulin spikes = muscle growth.0 -

I'm 100 pounds now. I was 110 in my picture. some fat is what I want. my cheeks are sunken in... only fat will correct that. I tend to digest meat (the thick, dense stuff) poorly... I rely on eggs, cheese, yogurt and whey (and I also have some chicken burritos)

If you don't care if the weight gain is fat or muscle ... just eat. Your BMI is well into the underweight category. Honestly, talking to a doctor about this might be a good idea.0

Feel free to take a look at my diary for ideas if you'd like -- I average 100-120g of vegetarian protein daily (on 2000 calories). Cottage cheese, greek yogurt, eggs, and protein powder/bars are my staples. Since you're not going to need to worry about calories, hitting 119g should be pretty easy. Make sure to read labels (things like yogurt can vary WILDLY in terms of protein).0
