Easy added exercise

I didn't quite fancy the Shred tonight, but had to stay up while the washing machine did it's spin cycle so that I could set it to tumble...

So I did cardio for those 10 minutes: butt kicks, skiing, grapevines, anything that kept me moving! I even broke into a sweat :happy: Not quite the type of spinning you'd get in a gym, but great fun nonetheless.

Anyone have any other suggestions for easy added exercise?

    Walking up and down a set or two of steps.

    When waiting for the train/bus/public transport go for a brisk walk around the platforms or even to the next bus stop.

    My French exchange had one: she never sat on toilet seats so thither thighs would get a workout!

    Hmmm, when I read washing machine/spin cycle, I thought you were going somewhere else entirely... but that could have been good exercise too. :blushing:

    When I am in the kitchen waiting for water to boil or something, I will sit back against a wall in my kitchen and see how deep I can sit and for how long. Your leg muscles will definitely be begging for the timer to go off :-)

    No wonder you have to keep on upping you cals ...:laugh:

    a few minutes of jumping rope goes a long way!

    I was thinking weights, sit ups or push ups during commercials. Thought of that last night in bed. I was going to try it today. Provided I get a chance to watch some tv today.
