when adding fruits and veggies to your MFP food diary do you count the calories/serving size? I know with Weight Watchers they don't count fruits and veggies in their points system. Those are "free" foods. Thanks all

Hello! Yes on this site you track anything that enters into your mount that has calories. :)

Weight Watchers gets away with it by setting a lower goal to account for those added fruits & veggies. You need to log them here.

Yep - if you're tracking calories you track everything.

Since they too have calories, yes, count them.

Yup. Looking at my diary today, I consumed at least 250-300 calories in fruits and vegetables today. I'm shooting for a half pound weight loss per week, and not logging those foods (while still eating my calorie goal) would wipe out my deficit.

Track every single thing.absolutely count fruit and veggies. Seriously. Even little Things like butter, oil, dressings, sauces, half and half , splash of milk in our tea, all add up !
If you didn't count all those things, your logging would be off by hundreds of calories per day ( depending on how much you use . for me, those small things like half and half and butter and dressings add up to almost 500 cals per day.)
