I'm going to give this a try for 30 days... Sweets are my defeat!

Hey jumping on the bandwagon for 30 days. Can't afford a gym so going old school style with what I've got and less calories. I will start this off with not enjoying the skinny girls drinking mocha pumpkin spice and eating pound cake at 7am or 3pm at the hospital. Then I go to doc and boom here's 3 more pounds you have gained. So I start at 185, 5'3 and nursing school has just begun. SWEETS are my down fall, actually anything within reach or at the house is up for grabs. Literally. I might eat my dogs next. Haha! Ready set GO Thursday am.

Why just 30 days? You dont need to go to a gym. I dont work out.. I have lost 9 pounds in a month logging calories. (Started with SparkPeople.. and not liking it much-changed to mfp.) I do mountain hiking/ walking the trails every other weekend.. Dont you want to try and feel better about yourself? You have to want to try or you will fail. Its actually addidicting to see your weight loss as a journey and still enjoy food without going hungry. If I feel like somedays its not enough I have an extra 100 calories. No biggie. But then again Im not in a race.0

It's good to see you wanting to make some changes but I'm concerned that you've set yourself these 30 days and after that, it's back to normal. I'd really suggest thinking about making this a long-term goal, being healthy permanently really has it perks0

I think setting a 30day challenge is a great idea! If you're honest & log everything you eat (I know all about those sweet cravings before & after work!), MFP gives you a really good basis to start better managing and improving your diet
Yes it's only 30 days, but if it gives you insight or incentive to eat healthy then that's great! AND if you see some major changes & weight loss in that time & decide to stay for longer than 30days then brilliant it's all about what works for you! You can do it! Add me if you want support x0 -
Just don't dip the dogs in sugar and you'll be fine
Good luck with your 30 days and I hope it turns into many more!0
