Welcome!
You don't need to be good - you just need some consistency. Keep in mind that 2 steps forward and 1 step back is still progress. You don't have to be prefect, just make better decisions more often than bad ones.

Think of it more of a lifestyle change rather than a diet. It is about learning to enjoy food but still being able to use it to lose, gain, or maintain weight.0

If you are not very good at it, you' might want to htink about why that is so and try to figure it out so that whatever caused you to fail in the past won't be yoru downfall in the future.
