Fitbit issues with the GPS tracker on the app! Please help!

Ok I'm not knowing what to do. Yesterday I went on a walk and used the GPS tracker with my fit bit and it overestimated my walk. My fitbit band said 5 miles, but the fitbit GPS tracker on my app said 9miles. I knew the 5 miles was correct because I walk the same route and mapmyfitness says it's 5 miles. This morning I used map my fitness to track my blading miles. I went for 14 miles. My fitbit band says I went 4miles because it tracks my steps and blading it's stepping so it's way underestimating the amount of calories I burned. What could I do to get the correct results for my fitbit? I have my mapmyfitness and fitbit apps synced together.

Fitbit will never give you accurate distance for blading—only step-based activity. For an accurate burn, log non-step exercise in Fitbit—not MFP.
You can learn more in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users
Distance is calculated by multiplying your steps x stride length. You can calibrate your stride for better accuracy: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-measure-and-adjust-my-stride-length
When you track a walk, run, or hike, distance is calculated by GPS. If your device has a poor GPS connection, the distance will be wrong.0
