Hi all, I few months ago i was strict running twice a week, and 2 workout dvds a week. i fell off the wagon a bit. Now due to times my husband works i cant get out for a run very often. So going to try do some online workouts. Can anyone suggest some good workout videos? that target arms and tummy to start. if i do the same ones all the time i get fed up and end off not doing it. You're trying to shrink your arms & tummy, right? Exercises don't target fat loss. For more on that, google "spot reduction myth". I would do a full-body workout. FitnessBlender has a bunch. Also search the forum, since it's asked often.0

Full body workouts are the way to go. You want all around fitness, you want to keep muscle and lose fat (all over). Part of where the fat will come from is genetics. I would love to lose a ton off my hips & thighs...but alas, those are the last places fat comes from (for me).
Fitness Blender, Jessica Smith TV, Hulu.com.....on-line workouts are great when you get bored doing the same thing.
I love DVDs, but it took awhile to amass a collection that I can rotate. Netflix by mail was great for test driving videos. To view video clips & read reviews there are a couple websites with tons of info: totalfitnessdvds.com & collagevideo.com. I don't buy a DVD without checking these sites first. Kelly Coffey Meyer is my favorite....her 30 Minutes to Fitness Collection - the DVDs have 2 - 30 minute workouts + lots of premixes to keep it fresh.

Ditto on FitnessBlender. Its (mostly) free, very user friendly, and the people who do the videos are not super peppy (which drives me crazy!). I like it because I can pick workouts according to how much time I have to squeeze one it. It helps minimize my excuses to not workout!
I think what is most important is that you're doing it. Whether you use a "targeted" workout or something else, good for you for getting up and doing it! Best of luck!0 -
