I'm fat and i never been skinny how do i change.

I been fat my whole life and I never been able to lose weight and keep it off. What can I do Healthy people?

Start small and get a quick win. Get help if you can afford it. I think the mental change regarding why we overeat and how we perceive ourselves is a bigger challenge than the physical one. In short, eat less, move more. Change your habits towards a fitter you, one day at a time. Move more. When you fail, get back up. For me, I set event participation goals. Weigh what you eat, log it. Try not to judge the number it adds up to. SCARY?? Most people underestimate calories consumed so be honest then you know where you are starting. Find something fun that gets you moving. Find a person or more you can walk with, if being social helps motivate you to go out when the weather is bad. Try lifting weights, even if that weight is a can of beans
. If none of that appeals find things that do which increase your movement and reduce your calories. Good luck n welcome.

Keep it simple as you start - eat more vegetables - start cutting out the junk in your diet ( you know what that is) - eat some meat and eggs - Don't eat anything that comes in a can or a box - get off your butt and get some exercise, even if it is just a walk around the block - Eastcoast Jim0

First of all - ban the following words as descriptions of yourself - "Fat" and "Skinny".
I'll agree with everyone else, keep it simple and get to grips with eating to your calorie allowance. Weigh your foods if possible and if you can introduce exercise, then that'll definitely help you feel confident in yourself. This is totally achievable, I promise. The key to this is all in the head - stay strong, stay determined, stay focused and your body will react accordingly.
