Ok so I have successfully lost 22lbs! Whoop! But then got frustrated about the slow down in progress and feeling deprived, I stopped trying. But I'm ready to get back in there! I initially lost my weight consuming 1500 cals, I plan to change it it 1300 cals. While also starting a 5 day a week cardio regimen, and 1-2 times a week for circuit training (strengthening) with my husband. I'm struggling with the idea of feeling hungry all the time! I'm not really sure what to do to make sure that I'm not feeling this way. Today after having a big Pharmacology test I came in ready to snack. Nevermind the prepared almonds, pickles, peanuts, and tuna, I'd packed for myself to keep me focused. I was eating, now I try not to have alot of those trigger foods around. But knowing me I will just want to eat a piece of turkey sausage & cheese, after just eating my designated meal. I recently increased my protein intake to 105 from a default amount of 70?? It may be just a mind thing (more than likely), but at this point I can't stop thinking that I want to eat everything. I honestly want to stay away from the house so I won't think about food ( I've kinda gotten better about not getting fastfoods). If anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.
More info about me (if needed lol)

Thanks in advance

Okay, here's my advice. . . at your current weight, 1300 calories is not enough. You will be hungry, feel deprived, and likely not be able to stick with it. Better to recalculate a level you can live with and feel good.

I agree, I feel like 1300 would be too low for your current weight, and especially when you add the exercise. I am at 358 and MFP calculated 1950 calories per day for a 2lb/week loss.

Do you plan to eat back some of your exercise calories that you burn in your cardio regimen? This may help with those hunger pains :) I'm new at this! I have been reading both sides of the debate about eating back exercise calories.

So I should take it back up to 1500 calories? I guess and stop over eating! Lol

Can I refer you to my recent blog post. I think you if you do what you plan, you are heading for another failure.

You should not feel hungry all the time. You should not cut your calories too much, you should eat better quality food and you should try to keep yoru meals close together. I can't go into length on this at this point in time but if you want to know more, i can elaborate later tonight. Anyway these are things i did to lose the weight and keep it off.

And do read my blog. Its just published other my blog is called almost vegan. And my post is not about veganism.

Why drop to 1300 calories when 1500 calories were working fine for you? This isn't supposed to be a "Lose weight as fast as possible" process - it's ongoing and you need to eat a sensible amount. 1300 isn't enough.

I'm 5'2 - 127 pounds and I eat 1500 a day and I lose weight on that. So definitely don't drop your calories.

Good luck and well done on your success so far!
