I learn, from my mistakes yet I continue to, repeat them.

So therefore, they're no longer mistakes; they're faults!

(This is a venting moment/rant rather than a question, so I wasn't sure; which Category to choose from).

I start my days at midnight & I was craving a new type of lunchables but forgot that I was going to eat that until I went to get the cream cheese, for my half of a bagel; that I had already gotten from the package. So I just ate the half of bagel but then gave into my craving for the lunchables.

I was still hungry after & wanted pizza but knew that I'd eat the entire pizza, so I had half of a serving of cereal instead & unfortunately then another, in hopes that I'd get full enough; to not crave the pizza anymore but I made the pizza anyway & at 2:00 A.M., I've already eaten 1 & 1/2 days of Calories.

I knew that I would eventually given into my cravings, as I've always done before & would've also eaten at least a days worth of Calories but if I had just given into my cravings only instead of eating the half of bagel & the 2 half bowls of cereal in an attempt to avoid the inevitable, I wouldn't be an extra half of a day; over my Calories. The damage would've just been minimized to the over consumption of what I craved & not in addition, to what I didn't.

I am not upset that I gave into my cravings and/or that they'll put me a day over my Calories because I'm human & therefore I have to enjoy myself every once in a while. I am upset that I wasted Calories consuming things, that I didn't even want; all while knowing that I'd also eventually consume what I did want especially since this has happened numerous times before. I don't mind mistakes but I can't accept faults & so I'm absolutely livid with myself, over this.

I know your delimma very well. I was stuck in the same cycle. I learned that many of the foods you described have been processed to the point where your body craves the chemicals in the food. Therefore you will continue to crave the same foods over and over. Cravings are a sign that you are lacking certain vitamins and minerals. The key is to be disciplined and choose a fruit or vegetable instead of what you think you want (ex: pizza). After a short time, you will see and feel a huge difference. Feel free to add me!
