Been reading posts for awhile and thought I best bite the bullet and say hi.As title suggests I turn 40 this year and I can honestly say I've never felt better in every way. fitness and weight wise I always strive for better and love a challenge, been a runner since I was a teen think that's why I've always been lean (5ft6 7st9lbs bf12%) and I want to be doing this at 80

Hi there it is wonderful to hear you still feel great, I though there was something wrong with me thinking I don't feel 42 and I feel fantastic.

My dr say I get 5 years younger every time I see him!

    Fitness just helps everything.

    Definitely takes the years off!!

No 40 is 40. It will never be 20.

Well, I'm 53 and feel better than I did when I was 40. Onwards!

If 40 is the new 20 , then what is 20?

I was a complete idiot at 20. I'll take 44 thank you very much! ;)

I see what you mean, I feel physically and mentally better since my early 20s.
    Especially the mental part...

I can relate! I am fitter now in my 40s than I've ever been in my life before now, I reckon I could put most 20 somethings to shame with my fitness but unfortunately the mirror lets me know that I am indeed in my 40s lol but age is just a number right?

Agree age is defiantly just a number and some sayings are not to be meant literally but realising that comes with maturity guess some of you aren't there yet
