Where am I going wrong with this receipe?

I saw a link to this receipe on my FB newsfeed the other day. I clicked on the link and thought I would give a try.
It is called Pasta with ricotta, spinach and pinenuts from a book called “Healthy Pasta: The Sexy, Skinny, and Smart Way to Eat Your Favorite Food” by Joseph Bastianich and Tanya Bastianich Manuali. They claim their receipes are under 500 calories.
I input the receipe several times but consistently came up with a calorie count well above 500 ( example 2908 per portion (for 6).) Here are the ingredients I logged in:

1.00 cup(s), Cheese, ricotta, part skim milk
0.25 cup, California Golden Raisins
2.00 tbsp(s), Oil - Olive
1.00 large, Onions, raw
1.00 tsp (1.4g), Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt
1.00 teaspoon, Crushed Red Chili Pepper Flakes
0.25 cup(s), Nuts, pine nuts, dried
2.00 tsp(s), Orange Zest
0.50 cup(s), Cheese, parmesan, grated
12.00 Cups (85 g), Baby Spinach
16.00 oz dry, Mafaldine

Where am I going wrong?

I got 538/serving when I ran that...are you adjusting the servings correctly? And is it matching something in a funky way?

it says to strain the ricotta cheese, not 100% possitive but, i do believe that reduces the calories/etc. total of the cheese.

also says raisins are optional, so perhaps they are not including those 100-130 calories in their totals as well??

    Where am I going wrong?

I entered it and got 480 calories per serving for 6 servings.

1.00 cup(s), Cheese, ricotta, part skim milk
    0.25 cup, California Golden Raisins
    2.00 tbsp(s), Oil - Olive
    1.00 large, Onions, raw
    8.00 oz(s), Spinach - Raw
0.25 cup(s), Nuts, pine nuts, dried
    2.00 tsp(s), Orange Zest
    0.50 cup(s), Cheese, parmesan, grated
    1.00 lb(s), Mafalde

Check the ingredients to see if the ones you chose are correct and the correct amounts. Check to see if you have it set for 6 servings. 2908 sound like the calorie count for the whole thing not 1/6 of it.

I think it is the way the mafaldine is added - as it is 210 calories per 2oz dried. The way I read the receipe is you use 1lb of dried pasta which is about 2.5lb cooked pasta. Can you show me how you put in the receipe? Maybe that way I could see where I am going wrong. Don't think straining the ricotta makes much difference as there is very little liquid to begin with.

Looks like the calorie count for the Mafaldine is off-16,080 calories?

I checked the nutrition label and the calories were incorrect for the Mafaldine - 2010 instead of 210. So I removed it and looked for a pasta with the same nutrition information. Much better with 9 portions (6 seemed too much with the carbs) it came to 328 calories 48 carbs Whew! 48 carbs is still too much but once in a while you can get away with it as long as you go for a 30 min afterwards.

Well I learned something new today. I had never heard of mafaldine and before I googled it I thought it might be a dry wine
