Great job there. I have a friend that had to be put in a nursing home after some health issues because his wife could not manage him due to his weight. That has been an additional strong motivation to continue losing weight in my case.

    Welcome to MFP forums.

Well done! You're on the right path, and you're right in that there is no finish line. But the scenery is so much better when you have the energy to do the things you enjoy!

Great work! You look happy and healthier!

I feel the same way, "no finish line". Even though I have been on MFP for 3-1/2 years and maintenance for almost 2 years.
This is an on going process and even though I am done losing, I have to be always monitoring myself, and will not allow myself to go back to where I was.

    Keep up the fantastic work!

You look great! And your right, there is no finish line. Every time I acted like there was one, I gained back weight. But I have learned to enjoy logging, which is a good thing since I will be doing it for the rest of my life.

Great job; and you're right, there is no "finish line." It is a journey not a project or a "diet" w/an end date. I think that's where a lot of people miss the boat. It is not abt denying yourself all the time; it's abt making the eating right most of the time and having the other as the occasional treat. Good luck! B)
