Hi all,

I noticed day to day when logging in my food and exercise, the goals on my summary page change. Does anyone know why my goals would change if my daily calories intake is a constant number?

Thanks!!

Did you add exercise? It gives you calories for that.

I start off everyday with 1400 calories, after fitbit adds my exercise calories I usually end up around 2,000 calories.

The more you exercise, the more food you get to eat. As long as you "net" your original calorie goal, you're doing it right.

Yes, I added exercise. So adding exercise also increases my goals for sodium, fiber, cholesterol etc. as well? Seems counterintuitive to think that by exercising you also need to increase some if the "bad" stuff too.

Your sodium and fibre shouldn't increase.. Only your calories, fat and carbs

I just scrolled through a few. You are right. Only my fat, carbohydrates, and protein goals have changed along with all their sub groups. Fiber is a big one for me to try and hit and when I saw my goal for that continue to climb today, something didn't seem right to me.

But as long as I keep a green net net vs a red one, I guess I am doing ok.

Thanks so much for all your help!!!
