Hello everyone,
I'm new here and so far, i'm fascinated with everyone's progress and stories. I have never had a weight problem, until now. I have two wonderful kids ages 2 and 6 and after just graduating Nursing School I found myself tipping the scales at 150LBs!!! By the way I'm only 5'1", so that is a very unhealthy weight for me. I have lingered at about 125lbs most of my adult life and I'm very disapponted in the way I look and feel, as well as my lack of energy. I have tried "counting points" with Weight Watchers, but always found myself starving.
I never in my life counted calories, it seemed way too complicated and frustrating to me - and along came this wonderful site! I'm hoping i can stick to this and make positive PERMANENT changes in my life!

Counting Calories is the correct way and the sure way to lose weight. You can count on losing a min of 1 lb per week for some time. I never counted calories until I stumbled upon this site. I have learned more in since Jan then Ihave the entire time of taking supplements, working out and everything else.
Welcome and congrats on your new life of counting calories. 25 lbs will come off quick, make sure you take before and afters

Stick to the calorie counting and exercise. I totally understand where you're coming from - it wasn't until I hit my forties that I started packing on the weight - before I would have to eat 3 thousand calories just to maintain my weight so I wouldn't go underweight. Hang in there - you can do it!!0
