Getting rid of Candida overgrowth?

Hey everyone! So my ferritin has finally started coming up. It's now 38. Still not where it needs to be but a huge improvement. I still feel exhausted and anxious so my doctor ran more tests and figured out what is causing my symptoms, Candida overgrowth. My doctor says my symptoms will go away when we get rid of it. She says Candida causes so many problems and people who have it generally have a level of anxiety that's out of the norm and when we treat it, the anxiety goes away.
So I'm looking for advice on how to get rid of this when I'm limited on what I can do based on my anxiety. She said the most important thing is to give the body lots of probiotics so it will push the yeast out (All my problems did start when I took a strong powerful antibiotic for an infection). I can't take a probiotic though because of my anxiety. I can eat yogurt daily but I'm not sure if that would be enough. My doctor recommended a low sugar yogurt. I've found one that isn't that high in sugar: Dannon Light and Fit. I'm not sure if this will work or not. She recommended plain yogurt but that has more sugar than the Dannon Light and Fit. So would this be a good option? Would it be enough? She also wants to put me on anti-fungal medication like Fluconazole for a little bit but I can't handle that because of my anxiety. She also recommended coconut oil which is a very powerful anti fungal and is known for killing Candida but I don't like the taste so I'm wondering if it would work if I use it on my skin (Since your skin is your biggest organ and anything you put on your skin is absorbed into your body). Would that work? She also said reducing sugar is good (although it has to be combined with other things like the probiotics) but she understands that would be difficult for me since I'm diabetic and I have to have sugar. I can reduce it but eliminating it would not be possible. So any ideas how I can get rid of this? Thanks in advance!

Have you ever tried making your own yogurt?? Then you can control what goes in it. What test did your doctor run to determine the Candida overgrowth. I have all of the symptoms of Candida and yet no doctor has even mentioned it. I think sometimes it is just hype to sell things but I really have issues that all point to yeast overload in my system! I am also looking for some help.0
