I guess what I really want to know is why does mfp have that exercise button as an option ? Cuz its obviously dangerous to me cuz I will eat back the calories and I shouldn't

If you are using MFP as intended you're supposed to eat them back.0

So if my tde is 2248 but my daily goal is 1910 and I ate all 1910 and then I went exercised and burned 300 for example and then it adds on top of 1910, I would literally get to eat 300 more calories cuz I just burned it?0

Not everyone chooses to use TDEE. Some people use MFP as it was designed and add their exercise separate.0

If you're using the TDEE method then don't log your exercise or log it as one calorie (MFP won't let you log as 0)
But that doesn't mean no one should have the option to log exercise, just because you're using a different method than MFP intended.0 -

Only if you want to maintain your weight. If you're setting your calories to a deficit from TDEE and you still want to track your exercise then type over the calories MFP gives you when you enter your exercise. Make each exercise burn 1 calorie.

It's like using the TDEE for sedentary and figuring out your calories to lose from using that. So the exercise calories that you burn are 'extra' and can be eaten, yepIt's kind of fun that way (but I use a set daily goal, so regular TDEE).

Oh okay .. I do want to lose weight. I'm exercising like crazy and not seeing results I want so I'm assuming I'm eating too many calories0
