i have a Fitbit that syncs to mfp. I haven't used this in a long time so I not sure how everything works with the new updates. My exercise is showing a Fitbit adjustment as well as an adjustment for bodyweight. Is this adjusting for the same things, or are they separate?

    could you take a screenshot or open your diary so we can take a look

    The only thing that shows in my exercise diary is a Fitbit Adjustment. Nothing else.
    Fitbit will update my weight on here (I have the aria scale), but it doesn't show in the exercise diary. It just adds a new weigh-in to my check in area (I think it's the progress area on the phone app) everyday.

    Are you using another app? Like maybe Fitstar or Sworkit (both can sync with MFP)?

    Fitbit doesn't actually send exercise logs to MFP, so I'm wondering if they are coming from another app that you may be using for workouts.

    You can check to see if they show up in your Fitbit app (under the exercise section). If they do, then they were successfully transferred from MFP to Fitbit and nothing is being double counted. The math behind the adjustments prevents the double counting of calories (when everything is logged correctly, if they come in at some odd time like 12 am or something, then you might have some double counting until you adjust the time) If they aren't actually workouts you did then, you might want to contact to support to see where they came from.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And if I'm misunderstanding completely:
    If your wondering if they are being double counted by your Fitbit adjustment and being logged, then as long as you have the correct start time/duration for the workouts; no they are not being doubled.
    Your Fitbit adjustment is a comparison of your estimated MFP calorie burn & your Fitbit calorie burn.
    Exercise logged on MFP makes your MFP calorie burn higher and is sent over to Fitbit to correct the calorie burn for the time/duration of the workout. The math becomes:
    Fitbit Calorie burn - MFP calorie burn (daily activity estimate + exercise logged) = adjustment
    I did just start using fitstar. Thanks! That makes sense!
