Struggling, thyroidectomy and chronic fatigue syndrome

Hi, I am just looking for a little bit of support. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2013 and before then always weighed around 140 pounds/ 10 stone. Since having a thyroidectomy I have slowly crept to to 182 pounds/13 stone. I have eaten pretty healthily over the past year and a half but cannot shift the weight. I started exercising at the beginning of 2015 and the weight was slowly coming off but I have now been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and cannot physically exercise. Does anyone have any ideas to help me lose the weight without exercise? It's hard as a 22 year old girl to be unable to do anything about this and watch my weight go up and up

R u able to move at all? I understand ur emotions re bn SO young! I was also diagnosed w chronic fatigue syndrome among other things at an early age. However, I do hv a few gd days where I can get out of bed. On the days I'm bed-ridden I take a plastic ball 8-10" that kids play w. U may buy them at grocery stores or Wal-Mart n the summer. I put it btwn my knees n squeeze as many reps as I can. I also try to move my legs a bit or even tense the muscle then release. Or possibly "crunch" my arms as if I hv weights n em. If ur able u cld use a 1 lb weight. -- I figure ANY movement is btr than just lying n bed. I hv also tried something I either read or watched on tv-- (not sure if it works but it sure can't hurt) -- anyway, Arnold Schwarzenegger said if u think abt tightening a muscle, or think abt doing sit up reps etc they hv found that it actually tones the muscles. But u hv to visualize each sit up as if u r actually doing it etc. supposedly a test had bn ran n either at an old folks hm or military vets facility n the ones who "thought" abt it showed improvement n toned muscles compared to the ones who did nothing. Sorry I don't remember more abt the article. Hopefully I gv u enf facts u cld Google it. Plz friend me, I wld LOVE to try to help u. I can offer prayers if nothing else.0
