I would say I have a strong endurance for cardio and weights, but I can't seem to last no more then 5 sit ups and 10 second planks. Why? Help?

It's because they are totally different muscles. You can have strong arms but weak legs and strong legs but weak core. Once you start working the muscles and building strength, you'll see improvement.

That's ok. Just do what you can for now and you'll find over time that you're able to do more and can hold your planks for a longer time period.

Keep working at it and it'll get easier. You'll get better. :)

If you can only do 10 then do 10 and set it In your mind you will always do at least 10 + never less. I did this with the stair climber only it was with minutes it didn't take long and i was doing 30 minutes

Because your core isn't conditioned to do more. Repetition and consistency with core exercise (of course along with adequate rest days) will condition them to be able to exceed what you're currently doing now.

What helped me the most was a pyramid structure to my body weight exercises. Start at 1. Rest, then do 2, and rest. Do that, adding one each time, until you can't add another, then go back down the pyramid. Granted , I used this for push ups, but it should work for crunches/sit ups too.
