I've been at this for about a month now. And I've been pretty good. I rarely exceed my calorie limit and I bike everywhere but there's been no change on the scale.

any thoughts? sage words of wisdom? or is it a "stick with it and eventually the pounds will come off" type of thing....

... "stick with it and eventually the pounds will come off" type of thing....

Yep, this type of thing. Make sure you have all of your settings correct, then just keep at it. As you'll hear a lot on here, this is a marathon not a sprint.

    Good luck to you

You could be loosing fat and building muscle.

Switching up exercises will provide fresh results. However, regardless if cardio or strength training, you are building muscle and muscle is dense and heavy. Even if the scale shows the same weight, I am sure you are "transforming" your body into a more shapely figure through muscle development. Stay on course~!
  • Do you stick with your original calorie goal prior to exercise? Even though my remaining calories go up when I work out, I stick with my original calorie amount and don't go over it and don't use any of the calories it gives me due to exercise. I've been exercising for years, and have not changed my routine. I've only been at this five days so far, but my only change in those five days is reducing my calorie intake and I'm down 3 lbs already. I don't know if my progress will keep up come a month from now, but I sure hope so...

I'm in the same boat, so I'm no pro or even qualified to give advice....

Everyone keeps telling me to "keep it up...Don't stop.. your doing great.." The things I have learned are increase your protein and water intake. I have increase my water here lately, still working on the protein.

I suppose everyone is right, keep it up. If we are eating well and partaking in physical activity.. we can't really go wrong. My problem is I want it to happen now. lol

So I will pass on what I have been told... You are doing everything right. The best thing to do is to increase you water. Maybe increase your calories, zig zag calories. one high day, then lower, then high.... Don't let your body get use to a routine, switch it up.
Wish you the best. We can do this. We have MFP!!
