Hi I'm 54 will be 55 in May. I have been on MFP since November 2012. I have had successful times and times when I have gotten away from it. I just got back from vacation and found myself at my highest weight ever at 190.8lbs. I want to get serious and would love you to add me so I can have a community of people to help and be helped by staying on track.

Sounds like a common bond here...age and all. I have restarted just today ... my daughter's wedding is next August and I would like to enjoy seeing myself in pictures. I cannot hide in the back row this time! I do not want to hide in the back row . 30 lbs to lose. I lost 65 lbs about 4 years ago but 30 lbs has crept back on. Actually, it came back pretty quickly because I fell back to old habits.

55 here and returning after a 4 month break. Was doing good and lost 8 pounds but then got arthritis of the knee. No exercise meant the pounds came back. Need to lose 20 pounds. Looking forward to the comradeship here.
