Hi, I'm new to site

Hi Everyone, I would like to lose some weight and read some good reviews about this site so I'm hoping it works for me. Any advice you could give me would be great.

    Welcome!! Jump right in and get started!! For me, the best thing that has helped me lose the weight was counting the calories of all my food and keeping track on this site!! I have it on my iPhone so it's great to be able to add food anywhere anytime!! I love being able to see how many calories I have left for the day and plan my day accordingly!!

    I can say one great thing about this site is the Food Diary. Its amazing how calories can add up in a day. Most people I've talked to on this site say they lost weight just by watching their calorie intake. Then add in some exercise and you're sure to have success. Another good thing is the support. Having to be accountable makes succeeding easier!! Good luck on your journey!!!

    I'm fairly new as well. Started in March, took a break and I'm here again.

    But some advice I can give that I learned the first time around:
    1) LOG EVERYTHING. You're only cheating yourself if you don't. And it really helps when you see those calories adding up.
    2) Make some friends! It's very motivating when you comment on each other's posts and help each other along.
    3) EXERCISE!! Doesn't matter how well you eat. You must add exercise.

    i suggest "friending" some folks. You get to see that there are so many others working and worried about the same things as you. It's a sense of comfort and often times motivation.
