On Demand.

I spent some time inquiring people from Comcast about On Demand and they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about. One guy [please forgive me here...] was a foreigner and he had NO idea whatsoever what I was talking about. He kept saying "Okay.....um..." and "Can I have your number and call you back?" Then he would just get quiet. So, here's my question. Hopefully at least one of you can respond better. I am at a friend's house and I have no idea what her package consists of. I see that you can click on the On Demand option, but I'm scared to watch some of the stuff because I'm not sure if it would cost money. I know some of the programs are listed as free, but do you have to have an On Demand package or can anyone with Comcast watch it? I understand that there are some movies that will charge, but isn't there a confirmation if I click on one of them?

  • On mine (and I have no package), it says it's free, and if not there is a "$" beside the item you might want to view. My 11 year old uses it a lot and has never cost me money yet by accident, so I think you'll be just fine. :)

It's free unless it lists a price next to the title

Awesome. Thanks. :] I wanted to do some of those fit tv stuff, but was a little hesitant. I think I will give it whirl.

As you scroll through the list of programs, the price is listed directly below the title in the upper left hand corner.

Yeah you go through several different screens (and Ive had On Demand with several different services) in order to purchase something. It will let you know if there is a cost.
