So a bus company bans saggy pants, what rule would you make if you could have a free hand? Mine would be;

High fat fast foods should have health warnings like cigarettes

    I'd bring the scarlet letter back. You cheat on the spouse, and my tattooist puts a big ol' red "A" on your forehead. It's not a punishment so much as a warning to others. (I came up with this idea a few days ago when the girls and I were having a convo). :laugh:

    My wife and I were just discussing this. If I had my way I'd pull over and force every kid I saw on the street pull his pants up and turn his hat around so the bill faced forward.

    I still think there should be more regulation in the fast food industry - they shouldn't be able to get away with feeding us so much crap! I know we all make conscious decisions to eat the crap... but it shouldn't be that easy. Essentially, it would save the government SO much money in healthcare if we were all healthier!

    Oh, and cigarettes should be illegal. Why they are selling something that they KNOW causes cancer and many other health problems is a mystery to me. Except that they make so much money on all the taxes it produces....

    I still think there should be more regulation in the fast food industry - they shouldn't be able to get away with feeding us so much crap! I know we all make conscious decisions to eat the crap... but it shouldn't be that easy. Essentially, it would save the government SO much money in healthcare if we were all healthier!

    OH I agree about the cigarettes. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, and I am constantly around so much of it... it's disgusting.

    Full disclosure. ESPECIALLY in regards to the FDA. Did you know that they are allowed to keep 25% of what's in a hotdog a secret from the public? So frustrating!

    It IS a fine-able offense in Australia. No smoking in cars that contain any person under the age of 18. Best law ever!!

    No foreign language spoken in public. If you are caught speaking a foreign language, you must provide documentation that you are only here for a limited time. Here in the states, especially in the south, we have a HUGE problem with illegals. You're in America....we speak ENGLISH!!! (fyi...I do speak Spanish, but won't if they don't speak at least passable english.)

Here in the states, especially in the south, we have a HUGE problem with illegals. You're in America....we speak ENGLISH!!! (fyi...I do speak Spanish, but won't if they don't speak at least passable english.)

    I completely agree! If you're going to live in this country it should be mandatory that you learn English.

    AMEN!!!!! San Antonio is ridiculous. I work in a hospital and my patients can't understand me. I hear stories all the time of friends of mine dating illegal immigrants. It's an epidemic. I wish the government would do more about this problem. I don't mind people coming to America but do it the right way and pay taxes like I do. (Red Hot Topic for me as you might be able to tell.)

    I had no idea!!!! I think that is wonderful. I am all for giving ANYONE help who needs it....but get I pissed (no pun intended) to no end when I see 15 crack *kitten* standing outside the welfare office when I am on my way to work in the morning.

    Umm thanks for you knowing better than everyone else. I believe every one should have the freedom to make their own choices and live by those decisions.

    ...like wearing my baseball cap backwards. I don't get the new trend of leaving all the stickers on the cap though.

    My thing lately is taking my 6 year old daughter to the Mall Of America and point out about 90% of the girls outfits and telling her she will not be dressing like that.
