Slacking off and its showing :(

I have been slacking like crazy and even telling myself as I am doing it seems to make no difference. I was sick last week so my eating habits were erratic and it was understandable. This week - no excuse other than it is so much easier than the planning and consideration that goes into meal prep. Last night for example: I was dishing up my pasta, and as I was doing it I was thinking: I should weigh this first. But I didn't. And then, to add salt to the wound, I dished myself up a second helping after eating the first while thinking about how I had already been over my cals for the day and did I really want this. I ate it any way. I was 800 cals over yesterday and by the time dinner was over I felt sluggish and stuffed. This morning, I barely had enough energy for the 30 minutes of cardio I did. I came home and rather than meal prep and clean like usual, I sat on the couch and proceeded to fall asleep, despite going to bed at 8pm last night and getting almost 9 hours of sleep.
As far as the scale goes: well at least it still seems to be trending down...
Shouldn't the extra calories mean that I have more energy not less? Why am I feeling so BLAH?

Your body was tired this morning, but you still did your 30 minutes of cardio! Don't beat yourself up. And as for sitting on the couch, we all need a break, even when we get a full night's sleep. Your charted weight is going down, you just had a rough few days. The point is, you need to step back and see the big picture here, and you're definitely going in the right direction, overall! Good for you!0

Keep moving forward! Don't lose the progress you've made.... think about how much you had to sweat to lose those pounds you don't want to have to start over. That's what I tell myself all the time. Is this latte from starbucks really worth the hour running at 6.7 miles an hour to burn it off? NOPE!0

if it makes you feel better, what you're experiencing isn't that uncommon. also, you're only showing two weeks' worth of data, so it's hard to say where you stand on your journey - but if you read through the "Success Stories" threads, you'll find that the folks who made the most remarkable transformations were at this for YEARS.
don't let a couple of bad days throw you from the train.

Thanks and I am going into my 3rd month this time around... I am not letting it throw me off entirely. Just needed to vent about it I think. This morning was definitely a WTF moment when I woke up (For the second time!)0
