Hard to say because I don't know what you usually eat. You could try once a week (or more often!) choosing a healthy meal from another culture to cook and eat.
    Mixes things up a bit.

I agree. I try to make at least 1-2 new dishes or recipes a week. It really helps from getting too bored. To get started I looked up healthier recipes of what I already cooked. I also subscribe to two sites that send me weekly ideas.
  • if you go to shape.com the healthy meals section there is some quick easy meal ideas. Im not the best cook so sometimes cook books get to crazy for me, But I have found that this site is easy and pretty good

I make it a point to try a new vegetable every so often. So far I have tried celeric, golden beets and fiddlehead ferns. I've been happy with all of them. I also make it a point to vary the type of lettuce I use in my salads and I try to change up the type of grains and beans I eat. Lastly vary the fruit you eat from the typical apple/orange/banana.

fiddlehead ferns   Sounds funny. What are they? And what's celeric? I too like to try a little something new from time to time. Thanks!!
