Hi there! I gave myself a challenge a couple of days ago. I wanted to make a list of reasons why weight loss is a wonderful thing. One item on the list per pound. I have lost 131 pounds since September 20th, 2010. So my list is 131 items long. So I challenge you to do the same. Make a list of all the ways your life has improved as you get smaller or healthier or both. Keep the list and read it again if you get discouraged. Best of luck!

That is a FABULOUS list! So many things on there that we don't think of all the time but that wear us down. It's no wonder so many heavy people get depressed and eat more - look at what we're/they're missing out on. Congrats on your success! You're an inspiration!

I will take my time to come back to your list and make some (or most) of them mine. In the mean time I congratulate you. You have indeed inspired a least one person: me.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. You are the reason I love this site so much. When things get tough and all you can see is the big picture, it helps to remember that people are out their routing for you. :) I would love to see you post your lists on here! HUGS!!
