Hi All,

A few days ago marked 5 months since my last cigarette! To help me quit smoking, I decided to start running and It hasn't been easy! (although I've lost a few kilo's on the way!)

In 6 weeks I'll be doing my first run of 11km's at a local fun run. And in 10 weeks be participating in one of the largest runs in the world - City to Surf (in Sydney Australia). City to Surf is a 15km run from Sydney City to the iconic Bondi Beach.

The City to Surf organisation also gives the opportunity to open up fundraising accounts. If you would like to support my cause - please donate to the below link. All funds go to the RSPCA.

"The RSPCA is a community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection."

The 2011 Sun-Herald City2Surf, presented by Westpac for RSPCA Australia

The RSPCA is Australia's only truly national animal welfare organisation.
Each year, the RSPCA in Australia accepts around 144,000 animals from the public and investigates more than 43,000 complaints of animal cruelty and neglect.
As a non-profit organisation, the RSPCA depends on the support of individuals through donations to continue its vital work.
