low carb/net carbs

Hi all, I just recently started a low carb diet just to try it out for a few weeks and see what my results are. I have been eating less than 60g carbs daily. I haven't been subtracting fiber from my carbs grams. But I have heard that this gives you net carbs. Kind of confused on the whole thing. Should I just count my carbs like I have been doing or just i account for fiber as well?

Fiber is good for you. I try to keep the cards on the down low as well, but if you are getting a great fiber content from something, eat it!!0

Yes- subtract the fiber from carbs, check out this thread-

I wish this site listed net carbs as well, but if you get at least the fiber listed and don't go too far over the carbs listed, then you should be getting the right net carbs by definition for the most part.0
