I bought some whey protein tonight- now what do I do with it? (Yummy recipes please!)

    I make protein smoothie, or add it to my greek yogurt or yogurt, I also add it to a protein pancake as well.

    Smoothie is just like making any smoothie only adding a scoop of powder with it.

    Protein pancake
    1-2 scoops of protein,
    3/4c of egg whites,
    1/3c of porridge or oats
    1tbs of cinnamon

    If it's chocolate or vanilla: I like to get one banana (frozen), .5 cup of milk, 1 scoop of whey, 1 tbsp of peanut butter and like 2 cups of ice. Put in a blender, and blend until smooth. It's also great with frozen strawberries in there!

    Fresh or frozen fruit - like strawberries, banana and blueberries
    greek yogurt
    vanilla extract
    whey powder
    1tsp peanut butter
    ground flax seed

    I would also like to know this, since I'm planning on buying some. I don't own a blender, though.
  • Gnc has flavor less protein powder. Add it to anything.

    You can subsitute Whey Protein for flour when you make baked goodies! Equal Exchange too!

    I made a delicious chocolate peanut butter cupcake (or 24) with chocolate whey protein. . .my only tip is to add extra liquid because it can be a bit dry! I also added it to the frosting (mixed the whey with milk) and added it to the sugar/butter/vanilla mix! Yummy super high protein dessert!

    My colleague ate 3 in one sitting and wanted more! Unfortunately I don't like peanut butter, so I only had about half of one. . .but I am making plain chocolate cupcakes with chocolate whey icing tomorrow!!
