I'm generally more active at weekends, and I tend to get up later so breakfast and lunch become one meal (my appetite tapers off after about 6-7pm so this doesn't result in snacking more later, for me).
I also try to make reasonable decisions. Going out for coffee? I'll have a big frothy hazelnut latte if I'm not having a snack, and a cup of plain tea if I am. Going out for dinner and I'm the one driving? Big turkey burger with avocado and sweet potato fries. Going drinking? I'd pick a lower calorie option for dinner and walk to the pub so I could enjoy some beers. Basically, I still treat myself and enjoy socialising, but that doesn't mean I have EVERYTHING I like every single weekend.

You say you do great when there's structure, so create some structure to your weekend, too! That's what I had to do. I still wake up early on the weekend so that I have my breakfast at my normal weekday time, and I just plan my day out the same I would through the week. Like planning a time for my run between my weekend chores or social events. If I'm going out at night with friends, I'll take the added calories from drinks I'll be having into consideration when I'm planning my lunch/dinner.
Sorry that I don't have more to offer, but that's what has helped me. I used to be a big weekend binger lol.

Try making a schedule for yourself that doesn't revolve around food. Make a list Thursday or something of the things you should do, want to do and eventually do. Keep on the schedule and you'll find you are so busy you don't have time to be bored and eat.

I bank calories during the week so I can splurge on the weekend. I also try to be active for most of the day to burn more. That said, I still usually weigh more in Monday's due to water weight - but that's temporary.

Tonight we're going out for Italian - I have it planned - I'm going to have chicken Marsala, a cappuccino, and a slice of tiramisu - cannot not wait lol. Yesterday, in lieu of a large dinner I just had snacks throughout the night.

I cannot wing it on the weekends. I try to plan for as much of my day as possible.

Thanks!!! Definitely helps. I think next weekend I'm gonna add some structure. Maybe plan my meals ahead of time and include a small treat or two :) hopefully this will help keep me from overdoing it.

Friday and Saturday are my hard days--Sunday is usually fine. I "bank" some calories during the week to "spend" on those days; try not to good too overboard, and go easy on Sunday and Monday to balance things out.

I (try to) bank 200 calories a day during the week so that I can have 1000 calories extra on the weekends.

Weekends are tricky, I totally understand the struggle.

Because I have quite social weekends, sticking to my calorie deficit can be a real, real struggle. I used to find myself cancelling social events that involved alcohol and food because my calorie deficit would be utterly wrecked had I agreed to attend. This was totally the wrong way of going about it. What I do now? I bank my calories during the week! If I am under my calorie goal throughout the week, come Saturday morning - I count back 7 days, add up all the days I was under and use the total for my weekend 'treat'. It's been fantastic! I can have anything up to 200-1000 extra calories for the weekend depending on how much I am willing to 'save' for :)

Banking calories during the week has helped me tremendously during both weight loss mode and now at maintenance.

During the week I eat slightly below my needed calories and during the weekend I go slightly over. The extra calories allows me to have treats or go out to eat during the weekend etc.

I tend to workout more during the weekend too which leaves more calories to eat back.

I rarely drink my calories so that's more calories I can play with.

Lastly planning helps me stay in control. If I know I'm going to a restaurant that has an online menu I plan out my meal and have a backup.

I never go crazy over the weekend, but having some calories saved up has taken a lot of stress out of my social life.

    Good luck!

I had a weekend where i knew i was going to have a lot of food.
so i ran and had calories leftover.
essentially, my answer is run in the morning and enjoy yourself the rest of the day

I used to be like that too but learned to just say "No". Learned to discipline myself over the weekends like I do during the week, not give myself any excuses and not give into temptation. After a while it becomes a habit and it becomes easier just like everything else.
