Look at your portions. I make my oatmeal and hot cereal by using the regular amount of water, but only 1/2 the recommended cereal. The water bulks it up so it still feels like a lot, but my average serving--even with yogurt and fruit-- is less than 200 cal.

200g of yogurt is quite a lot of yogurt. I use a small amount of light greek yogurt and add some almond milk along with some blue berries. 350 for a filling breakfast isn't bad. Why would you say it's bad? It's just a number of calories.

Yeah i thought it seemed a lot of yoghurt. But as i have never made it before i thought i would follow the recipe. I was just shocked when it came out at 350 cala. I thought it would of been less as it was a slimming world recipe i used.

A lot of those recipes say it's 2 servings.

Healthy and low calorie are different things. It is nutritionally sound and healthy. 350 calories isn't bad if it keeps you full all morning! That would keep me full for ages.

My version of overnight oats is 40g rolled oats, 80ml milk, 80ml water, 5 grams of chia seeds, 5 grams of LSA mix and some cinnamon. There are stacks of overnight oat recipes online, I tried a mocha one which was delicious - it had expresso instead of water and some dark cacao.
