Would like some advice...

Hey everyone!
I weigh 143lbs, about 2 years ago I was a happy 120lbs, and as what happens to a lot of people, I went to uni and started binge drinking all the time and eating much more yuck foods... you know how it goes, so I put on 20+lbs
I would like to weigh 120lb again by October (my 21st!! I must!) OR lose inches off my hips, waist, and bust.
Could someone please tell me if that is achievable? To lose 24lbs in 4 months? Or is that super unhealthy? I excercise every day, and I've been eating pretty well too! Only gone over my calories a few times, but i'm getting better with that
I just want to do it the healthy way, because I don't want to lose loads of weight quickly because I know what that does to people! I'm so scared I'll put it all back on and more!
NOTE: Last year I lost about 9 lbs, just by walking and cutting out SOME bad foods, i unfortunately stopped for some unknown reason (i think it was because of the cold english winter) and I put 3lbs back on again! (although not as much as I thought I did!) But I want to lose more weight in that time frame (it took me 2 months to lose 5lbs)
Is there anyone on here that weighed the same as me and got to the same goal as I did? Can you tell me what you did to achieve this and how long it takes? Even if you don't, I just need some motivation and how to go about doing this! I'm so inexperienced!
I know there is no miracle in weight loss, i'm prepared for how hard it's going to be!
Thank you

Hi there-
I know my daughter has been on MFP and also doing the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels (I'm on day 5 myself). She is about your age. Look her up, I'm sure she would love to help you. She has lost 17 pounds so far and I believe 5 inches. her ID is ashleypeterson37, very sweet and helpful!

I started on here 3 weeks ago at 155lb and i am weighing in tomorrow morning and i am pretty sure i will be down 8 lbs. my fiance is doing this too and he has lost 12 on his 2 week weigh in and he weighs in tomorrow and is dropping his belly quick so he may have lost another 3 to 5 lbs. You can do it too, just stick to this and follow you calories guidelines for the day.0

P90X! I bet you can get 24lbs off in the 3 months of p90x. it really is a total body transformation if you committ to it. It is hard work but SO worth it! I have 2 1/2 weeks left of the program and am planing on restarting it when I finish, if you would like to add me as a friend!0

Where can I buy it from? I just saw your page good on you!! It must be so hard to lose weight when you're already so tiny! You'll look incredible for your wedding!
I will give it a try! I'm a bit nervous about those kind of things, as well as the jillian michaels thing, because I don't want to buy it and then have it be a waste of money... but if it worked for you then hopefully it'll work for me!0 -

I borrowed it from my sister in law, but you can order it online, and there is a ton of posts on here about the program if you want to research it more. It is time consuming, like 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours a day, but you will definiteily get results. and thank you! My wedding isn't until 9/22/12 so I hope I can maintain this until then!0 -
HA, I was scared to start with Jillian Michaels too, but I have been pleasantly suprised! She is brutal, but so worth it, I feel great after my workouts!!!!! Have'nt measured or weighed since I started, but will do after the first 10 days. Wish me luck!!!0
