Tomorrow will mark 2 mos since I began my journey and so far I've lost 11lbs!
I'm 26F and my motivation for losing weight is unlike any other reason I've ever had. One day, I was snacking on something unhealthy, and realized that I wasn't even enjoying myself. I really wanted healthy food to eat. I told my self, "I know I can do this" and I treated my weight loss like a science.
In a diary, I wrote down what I ate for the day, took note of the types of food I ate, why I ate it, and how I could set myself up for success instead of failure. Then I wrote down healthy recipes. Most importantly, I decided to get back on here and track my calories. This has been the biggest appetite suppressant so far! I've also learned that I can eat real food and still lose weight. One of my favorite recipes is a turkey cheeseburger with no bun and homemade fries. Yay. I'm so excited
What was your turn around moment?

You've done amazingly - well done and keep up the fantastic work.
My turn-around moment was after months and months of denial about my weight gain. I went to the doctor for a routine appointment and was horrified to hear my doctor tell me I needed to lose weight! I cried and cried for days after (weight has always been a sensitive subject for me) and then decided 'no more tears, time to act'. 30 lbs later and I'm feeling amazing! You can do this too0 -
Off to a great start! Keep it up. Add me and I'll cheer you on!0
