How do I figure out my calories and time using a step tracker? Also how many steps are in a mile?

It is a sport line, got it from WalMart.0

If it's not one that you can sync with MFP, you would probably be better off using the MFP activity level based on how many steps you take in a day.

Measure off 20 feet. Walk it with your normal walking stride and count the steps. Multiply x264 to get the steps per mile. It is a bit different for everyone based on their stride length. Mine is a little over 2000 steps per mile.0

If there is a track near you, just take a few laps, Most tracks are 1/4 mile do a mile and check your steps.0
