Protein Powder for Weight Loss

Hi All,
I've replaced my old breakfasts with protein shakes, but recently noticed that the label says something along the lines of "not to be used for weight reduction."
Are there any protein powders that are good for weight loss?
Thanks!

Protein powder is not a meal replacement shake. It is primarily only protein or protein & sugar. A meal replacement shake, which seems to be what ur looking for, contains a wider variety of nutrients, although they might come from nothing more than a crushed vitamin pill.

However, it is best to get your nutrition from real food and to lose weight by managing your overall calorie consumption. Read the sticky posts at the top of each forum for details on how to do that.

Protein powder isn't FOR weight loss. It's for...getting protein. Calorie deficit is for weight loss. If you are enjoying your shake and staying in a deficit, while meeting your macro and micro goals, have whichever protein powder you prefer.

Protein powder is for getting in your protein needs when you aren't able to meet your protein goals through food alone. For weight loss you need a calorie deficit. If the shakes fit your goals, you like them, you're meeting all your nutrition needs and you're still at a calorie deficit then drink them.
