Its important to have a re-feed day and to enjoy your favorite foods in moderation. What is everyones favorite cheat meal!?

    I don't know what a re-feed day is and I don't cheat.

I eat pizza almost every Friday.

My cheat = not logging for the day, but being sensible with what I eat. Making sure I get proteins and fats, but ordering or buying what looks good and not worrying about the nutrition as much(:

I don't cheat either. I plan, and eat all the good stuff when they fit. And then there are days when they don't fit and I eat it anyway, because well, I just can.

Don't cheat either. I keep all of my favorite foods (in proper portions, of course) in my normal diet plan.

Only real "cheats" are a few days I deliberately choose in advance not to log - a birthday party, a wedding, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. where I eat in moderation but without counting (often because I can't even reliably estimate). Only happens a few special days a year.

One thing I love but don't usually have now because it takes up like half my daily calories is a big bowl of air-popped popcorn with butter, a little bit of salt, honey, and cayenne pepper. I never expressly forbid it, but I know if I make it I want the whole dang giant bowl, and in all likelihood I'll be over my calories. So I haven't had it in a while. But one of these days I will :)

Another thing I really enjoy (but can't quite enjoy in moderation) is vegetable biryani rice. Mmmmmm. I had it this month and mmmmmmm. That day was so over on calories. Worth it.

Things I can work in are some quality dark chocolate. I've had that a few days this week and it's made me so happy. I'll sometimes get a small ice capp at Timmies, and sometimes a warm homemade muffin with butter. These are also really enjoyable treats and don't blow up my calories, so I've been having them more often.

I don't usually call things "cheats" because I'm so academically inclined that word might as well be "DANGEROUS AND HIGHLY ILLEGAL AND EVIL SUPER EVIL AND BAD" to me, lol. But I do have days where I'm over, or where I just accept I'll be over, and those have been the days where it's so worth it.

I still eat everything, but in moderation, but I do love a good veggie pizza from the Indian takeaway!! & Ben & Jerrys ice cream! But what I am going to get when I reach my new goal I am going to get toasting waffles for a breakfast treat

This same thread comes up over and over. How can you cheat? Your body logs every calorie.
