Beans! Easy, cheap, can be spiced a variety of ways depending on my mood; eggs, fish, chicken breast, lean deli meat like turkey & roast beef.

Cook up a pound of chicken tenders weekly. Keep cheese around. Solid low carb and lean snack.

I totally understand the struggle - full fat protein is so much easier to make into varied, interesting and tasty meals; it has proven a tremendous benefit to my mental and physical health.

Chicken breast, Ground turkey 97%, lentils, beans, couscous, cottage cheese, high protein yogurt (read the label for these), shrimp, tilapia, egg whites, eggs, turkey breast from the deli (I prefer the low sodium)

I personally like eating beef so go for top sirloin, or london round. You can also buy the ground beef with low fat.

love egg white casseroles like the one I made this morning: egg whites poured over steamed Kale (or spinach) cooked in iron frying. I usually cut about 2 slice bacon into little pieces for flavor, but could leave out. Also protein crepe made with vanilla protein powder (the no sugar kind), oatmeal, egg whites, and unsweetened almond milk and cinnamon. Yummy.

Have you tried Chia seeds? I add a TBS to smoothies along with low fat Greek Yogurt for extra protien. You can also sprinkle the seeds onto salads, in sandwiches and over cereal. They have a slight nutty flavor but you may not even notice them.
