Just wondering if there are any others out there with Lupus or another disorder who have trouble finding the energy to exercise. Or if you do exercise, what type of fitness plan do you follow?

The less I move the more my fatigue takes control. Exercise and weight lifting has significantly decreased my lupus related fatigue. Initially it was hard for me to find the energy but I kept pushing myself to go. I workout 5 days a week on different body parts every time. I do cardio for 45mins at a moderate pace on an incline for those 5 days as well. Don't let your fatigue control you!0

To avoid the fatigue, you got to keep moving. My challenge is how to manage with the joint degeneration. For that, I have been using an elliptical and recombant bike.0

Yes! My nutritionist told me to avoid sugar -- all sugar. No more than 26grams per day. It's hard, but since I started doing that my energy has greatly improved. I do force myself to be active, even when I'm exhausted. It helps.0
