Anyone had success sneaking some additional protein into their trail mix?
I'm looking at a mix of dry roasted peanuts, honey dry roasted peanuts, sun flower seeds, almonds, and raisins. Should I just say ef it and throw some jerky in there? lol

I made roasted chickpeas recently and they were yum. Never thought about adding them to my home made trail mix but I'm definitely going to do this!0

Would chia seeds work? I use them in my granola but that is sweet rather than savoury...0

I always bag up 1/4 cup in sandwich bags with a mix of three types of nuts and dried berries Keeping around 15 bags weekly. Ex. Peanuts, sesame seeds, and almonds with some dried cranberries. Don't want to add more. I also keep a solid protein snack around the house. I cook up a pound of chicken tenders weekly . I pair the strip with a half slice of provolone cheese. Keeps the hunger away till dinner.I Keep tuna salad on hand too. Awesome with wheat thins.
