For those of you lowering carbs, watching fat & UPPING protein- here's a summer recipe you can use during the week with a back-yard flavor without even having to fire up the grill!
Indoor BBQ Pork Chops
Ingredients (for one serving):
1.5 Tbsp Hunt's 100% Natural Ketchup
1.5 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp Molasses
1/2 tsp Light Agave Nectar
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Onion Powder
4 oz. Lean, Boneless Pork Chop
Nonstick Cooking Spray
In a large, shallow dish, combine ketchup, vinegar, molasses, Agave Nectar, garlic & onion powder. Stir well. Reserve about 1/4 of the mixed sauce and set aside. Add the pork to sauce and allow the pork to marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat pan or grill pan over high heat. When hot, remove from the stove just while you coat it with cooking spray. Place the pork chop on the pan. Cook until pork is charred and cooked through, about 3 - 4 minutes each side, while continually brushing with leftover sauce.
Enjoy with a salad, sauteed baby spinach & tomatoes, home made sweet potato fries, or oven roasted onions & sliced mushrooms (or add your favorite side).

Agave Nectar is pretty important. It's what gives em their sweetness without added sugars. I'd always keep some in the household. That stuff ROCKS for replacing sugar in your diet (especially for baking)!0
