My fiancé and I are both working on our weight and becoming healthy. We are looking for other people to talk to and to support each other in our journey for becoming healthy.

Me:
5'4''
230lbs
goal weight 140lbs

Doing a version of the paleo diet. I do have 1 day a weed that I allow myself some (half cheat) options that way I do not fall off the band wagon so quick or at all.

This week I had a schlotzkeys sandwich as my cheat.
Last week I had an alcoholic drink once as my cheat.

I have been doing no sugar, no bread, no everything

Here is what i am doing to help myself so that I do not just give up

WEEK 1-4 ( one cheat a week)
WEEK 4-8 (two cheats a month)
WEEK 8-12 (one cheat a month)
WEEK 12 AND BEYOND no cheats

    Why are you denying yourself sugar, bread, and whatnot? I'm not trying to criticize--Simply to understand. Would you feel the need to "cheat" if you allowed yourself to eat what you want, within your caloric budget?

    Seems to me like you are hurting yourself for no reason. Don't consider it a diet think of it as a change in eating habits. Use MFP and log what you eat and it should work for you.

    New to this app myself but my journey began January 2015 at 180 now 140 working on toning up. Keep up the hard work
