No Sugar Added No Bake Cookies (Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (Tip: Try using reduced fat or Better'n Peanut Butter to reduce calories. I used regular JIF in my batch.)
1/2 cup evaporated milk (I used Safeway's brand)
3 cups quick oats (I used Safeway's Brand)
2 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (I used Trader Joes' brand)
2 cups Splenda (When using Splenda, definitely add to taste. Add 2 cups, taste, add more if it's not sweet enough for you)
1/2 cup butter (I used original Blue Bonnet)
Directions:
Combine milk, cocoa powder, Splenda, and butter in small saucepan. Place on medium heat. Let boil for five minutes, constantly stirring. Remove from heat and immediately add oats and peanut butter. Stir until chocolate is evenly distributed. Use tablespoon to place drops of mixture onto wax paper in 20 equal parts.
Nutrition:
Note: If you have a scale I reccomend weighing out each cookie. I didn't on this batch, but the calorie count per cookie would be much more accurate!
Total: Calories 1949, Carbs 176, Fat 122g, Sodium 1297mg, Protein 65g, Fiber 31g
Per serving (1/20 or 1 cookie): Calories 97, Carbs 9, Fat 6g, Sodium 65mg, Fiber 2g

I LOVE these cookies! They are my absolute favorite! The only danger for me is eating five of them... Or dipping into them while I'm making them! After they cool, the do become hard. Try placing two cookies each into ten zip lock baggies and placing in your cupboard. Having them sitting on the counter is just too much for me!

I looked these up after years of not having them. I use to love these as a kid and we called them boiled chocolate oatmeal cookies. We did not add ANY sugar or splenda... The peanut butter already has all the sweetener you need.
Thanks for posting the recipe.0 -

I would definitely agree if you add a LITTLE more peanut butter than half a cup. They are little too bitter with the unsweetened chocolate and so little peanut butter. I personally prefer A LOT more peanut butter than this, but for the sake of calories, I have cut back.0 -

I believe the 1,949 pertains to the entire batch because then she puts per serving 1 cookie = 97 calories.
And this sounds like a great idea! I actually have all the ingredients sitting around in my apartment... I might make these tomorrow. :]0 -
