What is your morning routine?

I am finding it hard to wake up for and early workout however that is my only time to do so! How do you wake up and get ready in the morning? (My gym is at my job so that is a plus) Also, what is your breakfast like?

Wake up half an hour before my bus comes, hop in and out of the shower, throw on some clothes, and I'm out the door.
My morning workout is a brisk walk to the bus stop, and then from the bus stop to work (about 0.5 km). Then I climb 5 flights of stairs up to my office.
About 10 am, I have a light snack ... I could, I suppose, call it breakfast or brunch or something.0 -
Pack your gym bag with work clothes, shower stuff, etc. the night before and lay out your gym clothes so you can throw them on as soon as you get out of bed. Some people find it easier to sleep in the gym clothes to save another step. Have anything else you need for the day (breakfast, lunch, whatever else) already packed. Anything you can do to cut down on your morning routine so you don't have to get up quite so early helps.
I usually spend 90 minutes getting ready in the morning so I cut it down to 30 minutes on gym days and barely have to get up any earlier. I do my makeup in the car, wear my hair up that day, etc.0 -

7:00AM - Get home from work
7:30AM - Get my son ready for school, make him breakfast
8:40AM - Put my son on the bus
8:45AM - Go to the Laundromat to start a wash cycle
9:00AM - Make breakfast- 2 Eggs with Sriracha - cooked in coconut oil
- 2 Sausages
- 2 Strips of Turkey Bacon
- 1/4 cup of Oatmeal
- 1/2 scoop of strawberry protein powder
- 1 Banana, 3-4 Strawberries, handful of blueberries
- Vitamin D3, Fish Oil, B-Complex
9:30AM - Eat Breakfast
9:40AM - Take a shower
9:50AM - Relax, catch up on a TV show, or browse the internet
10:00AM - Back to the Laundromat - fold clothes
10:15AM - Back to relaxing
11:30AM - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. 15 minute calisthenics, 45 minutes technique drilling, 30 minutes live sparring
1:00PM - YooHoo drink and Quest bar post workout meal
That's my morning. Then I nap until 3:40PM, when I have to pick my son up at the bus.0 -
it's all about organization for me. Shower at night, pack a lunch for the next day, look at the weather and lay out your clothes for the next day. The less decisions I have to make bleary eyed at 6:30am the better.
For breakfast I'm usually fine with bulletproof coffee at the office. I bought a hand frother and have a small jar of coconut oil in my desk.
A great way for me to start my day is to walk up to my office which is 8 flights up. Then I try not to look winded when step out the door.0
